STEP 1

You'll receive your Hol Food as either a sample or a tub. If you've received a sample, the entire package is a single 400 calorie serving. If you've received a tub, you can measure out a 400 calorie serving using the enclosed scoop. One scoop contains 200 calories worth of powder, so a single serving is two scoops.

STEP 2

Scoop your desired amount of Hol Food into a shaker cup or blender. For the smoothest possible shake, we recommend using a blender (an inexpensive Magic Bullet will easily do the trick), but a shaker cup with a circular wire whisk will also produce a very smooth product.

STEP 3

Add your liquid. For a 400 calorie (2 scoop) serving of Hol Food, we recommend you add 1.5 cups or 350 ml of water, milk, coconut milk, almond milk, or whatever your heart desires. However, you can always adjust your liquid amount to get a thicker or thinner shake. To get a thicker shake, simply reduce the amount of liquid added. To get a thinner shake, increase the amount of liquid added.

OPTIONAL STEP - Add Ins

Here's where things get interesting. Hol Food is designed to be delicious on its own, but things can get even more so with a bit of creativity. Vanilla Hol Food in particular was designed to be essentially a blank canvas upon which you can paint your favourite flavours. So try adding bananas, blueberries, strawberries, spinach, matcha, almond butter, or whatever else you can think of (Protip: Chocolate Hol Food with peanut butter and banana is out of this world).

STEP 4

It's time to blend, or if you're using your trusty shaker cup, it's time to get a workout. We recommend vigorously blending or shaking Hol Food with your liquid of choice for a minimum of 10 seconds.
